I asked my older son (the little one can't reach the box) and husband. They claim no knowledge of how this nut (or any previous ones) arrived. I'm sure I've asked them before but I've recently gotten some questions about whether they have been playing a trick on me all these years. I don't think they would have been able to keep it up this long.
The propane guy came for a fill today. But he hasn't been here in months and he gave my husband the bill. He wasn't near the mailbox at all.
Mail carrier? Neighborhood kids?
The mystery continues.
